Cult rock weirdos Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats have crawled back out of the ditch with a gnarly new single, "Don't Let It Control You," via their own Killer Candy Records.

Clocking in under four minutes, the track combines Fuzzrite guitars, Stooges-style driving piano, deranged harmonies, and Shadow Morton backing vocals into a psychedelic earworm that will haunt your summer. It's the band's first 7" single since "Pusher Man" in 2016 — and it previews a full forthcoming studio album.

The accompanying music video was shot in Super 8 by low-budget B-movie specialists Tinnitus Productions. Pre-orders are live now at killercandyrecords.com.

The band have also announced UK and Ireland headline dates in November to pair with a stacked European summer festival run.

Upcoming dates:

- June 4 — Sweden Rock Festival | June 18 — Hellfest | June 20 — Graspop | July 2 — Roskilde

- Nov. 19 — Wolverhampton @ KK's Steel Mill | Nov. 20 — Manchester @ New Century Hall | Nov. 21 — Glasgow @ The Garage | Nov. 22 — Leeds @ Brudenell | Nov. 24 — Bristol @ Trinity

(UK/Ireland tickets on general sale April 30)
