Trivium have announced their eleventh album, Crown in the Grave, due November 20 via Roadrunner Records, and released a video for the title track. The Japanese Noh theater-inspired, post-apocalyptic clip was directed by Pavel Trebukhin and set in a smoke-filled dojo.

The record is the first made in the band's own Orlando studio, The Hangar, and the first with drummer Alex Rüdinger. It reunites them with producer Josh Wilbur (Korn, Lamb of God) and brings in mixer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amon Amarth) for the first time. Bassist Paolo Gregoletto says Akira Kurosawa's Throne of Blood inspired the title track and led the band into Japanese horror and cinema from the '50s, '60s and '70s. They also leaned on '90s albums with big choruses, citing Metallica's The Black Album, Megadeth's Countdown to Extinction and Soundgarden's Superunknown.
