THE MON — the ambient/experimental solo project of Ufomammut bassist and vocalist Urlo — has dropped a live video for "Incantation" and a full live album, Live At Kadoc, available now as a free download on Bandcamp. If you've ever wanted to know what it sounds like when one person turns an ancient church into a sonic architecture experiment, here's your answer.
The performance was recorded on April 2nd, 2026 at the Chapel of Our Lady of Fever (Kadoc) in Leuven, Belgium, during a Spring tour alongside Kariti. With guitar, voice, and electronics bleeding into the natural resonance of the space, Urlo pulls off something rare: the room becomes part of the instrument.
The set draws from THE MON's Embrace The Abandon double-album series — Songs Of Abandon and Songs Of Embrace — a duality of loss, surrender, acceptance, and rebirth captured live in one of Europe's most atmospheric venues.
Live At Kadoc Tracklist:
1. Smiling Dog / 2. Major Arcana / 3. Incantation / 4. The Hidden Ghost / 5. Hourglass / 6. The Manure Of Our Remains / 7. Mayhem / 8. A Pearlescent Pulse Of Light / 9. Ritual Of Night Violence / 10. Embers Of Calendula / 11. Echoes Of The Drowned
