The Astral Prophets are back with Volatile Weekly as they gear up for the release of their debut album, Invasion, out October 30th. We caught up with the band about what's new, what's inspiring them, and the album-release show they have planned in Calgary.

VW: Thank you for coming back for another interview! What is new since the last interview?
We've been talking to lots of media outlets and magazines and promoting our new album!

VW: What has been inspiring you lately?
Seeing how many people are getting excited about the album. It's really heartwarming to see so many people reach out and congratulate us, as well as get amped up about listening to it. We are already starting to plan our next album.

VW: Do you have any new singles, videos, or albums out that you would like to tell me and your fans about?
Yes! We have our title track "Invasion" coming out. It is arguably our most metal track, and is heavy as hell. We also have a special guest playing a solo. But I can't tell you about that until it's released.

VW: Do you have anything else that you would like to talk about or promote?
We are performing our new album in its entirety on October 30th at Festival Hall in Calgary, AB. We will be bringing a brand new stage show, promo material, and merch for everyone.

VW: How can your fans best keep up to date with you? Any socials you want people to check out?
We are keeping up to date on our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Come check us out! hyperfollow.com/astralprophets
