Sleeping With Sirens are taking a trip back to where it all started. The band has released a newly recorded version of "I'm Coming Home (Big Gulps)" — the very first song Kellin Quinn and company ever wrote, originally filmed in one take on a laptop back in 2009 for the band's first-ever YouTube video.
The throwback got a second life this year after fans dug up the old clip and pushed it to viral status on TikTok, prompting Quinn to head back into a proper studio for the song's first-ever professional recording. "Big Gulps was the very first Sleeping With Sirens song ever written, so it's pretty amazing to see our fans digging through our old content on YouTube and watching it take off on TikTok," Quinn says. "The original recording was literally recorded on a MacBook back in 2009. So, I wanted to get back into the studio and properly rerecord a new acoustic version of the song."
The release comes as the band preps its fall headlining tour, kicking off October 3 at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, following the release of their eighth studio album, An Ending In Itself (Rise Records), produced by Will Yip (Turnstile, Circa Survive, Movements). Kerrang! called the record "expectation-defeating," while CaliberTV named it the band's "best album since 2011." The tour, with support from Rain City Drive and Shyeye, runs through North America into November before a run through Latin America and a Europe/UK headline tour in early 2027.
