Fifteen years and five albums in, Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators (SMKC) are back with the title track and video for "Flying Blind," out today. The album of the same name arrives worldwide Feb. 26, 2027, via Gibson Records, and it is the band's first full-length studio album since 2022's "4."

The 12-track record was cut largely live with longtime producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette at Studio Barbarosa in Florida. The band, with Slash on guitar and pedal steel, Kennedy on vocals, Todd Kerns on bass, Brent Fitz on drums and Frank Sidoris on rhythm guitar, finished most of it in about a week, often recording two songs a day with everyone in the same room. "It's a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock 'n' roll record," Slash says. "It's very straightforward and down-to-earth and raw."

The title track started as a riff Slash brought to pre-production. Kennedy says the lyric is about people taking shortcuts in their search for happiness or enlightenment. The video was shot at The Viper Room in Los Angeles and directed by John Harvatine IV.

Album highlights per the release: the talk-box and country twang of "Good Time Girl," the '80s-flavored "Sweet Kill," the instrumental "Living the Dream," and "Looking for a Miracle," the first song Slash has written on pedal steel and the first to feature a recorded pedal steel solo from him.
