UK alternative metal act Defences have teamed up with Skindred frontman Benji Webbe for "More Of Us (Than There Are Of Them)," a fiery protest track and video inspired by rising political discontent.

Singer Cherry Duesbury says the song was sparked in part by watching the first wave of ICE abductions in the US, where her family lives: "'More Of Us (Than There Are Of Them)' came from my desire to shed a light on the growing collective consciousness awakening of recent years... I wanted to write a song that expressed my feeling that we've reached a point of no return, that the public is finally turning on the rampant institutional corruption."

Defences — Duesbury, William Young, Calum Wilmot and Kyle Parke — have racked up millions of streams, sold-out headline tours and slots at Download, Takedown, Turbulence and Burn It Down across a decade, two EPs and three LPs.
