Multi-platinum band Shinedown have notched their 26th No. 1 on the Mediabase Active Rock chart with "Young Again," extending their own all-time record for most chart-topping songs in the format's history. The single, from their acclaimed album EI8HT (out now via Atlantic Records), follows "Safe And Sound," which gave the band their 25th Mediabase Active Rock No. 1 and 23rd Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay No. 1 — also a format record.
"Young Again" pairs explosive energy with a reminder to embrace the present, backed by a music video directed by Andrew Donoho. The song is also climbing the Alternative charts, following "Three Six Five," which hit #1 Alternative earlier this year.
Shinedown continue their Dance, Kid, Dance Act II World Tour this fall, co-headlining Australia and New Zealand with Bush in September (their first shows there in 15+ years) before a UK/European run with Coheed and Cambria and Those Damn Crows, including stops at London's OVO Arena Wembley (Nov 19) and Dublin (Nov 22).
