German progressive/thrash/death metal five-piece SCRAPER are set to release their sophomore full-length, "Infinite Journey", on May 8, 2026 via metalloscope-music.

Hailing from Marl in Germany's Ruhr area, SCRAPER have been building a formidable reputation since 2016, sharing stages with Disillusion, Exumer, Tankard, and Holy Moses. Their new album is a science-fiction concept work exploring the boundaries between human, machine, and consciousness — a cohesive narrative that plays out across nine tracks of technical precision, complex song structures, and an intense, dark atmosphere.

For fans of Kreator, Voivod, and Disillusion, Infinite Journey blends aggressive heaviness with conceptual depth in a way that's "quite innovative for Thrash Metal" (Crossfire, 7.5/10). The album's two advance singles — "The Infinite Journey" and "Cold Resistance" — are both out now with accompanying music videos.

The band: "'Infinite Journey' is a musical journey through a science fiction story. This concept-album deals with the process of the eternal cycle — a soundtrack about creation, realization and destruction, in which the music, lyrics and artwork are equally important."

Tracklist: The Infinite Journey / Hunger Within / Progenies Of the Void / Epitome Of Obliteration / Cold Resistance / Anatomy Of Devastation / March Of The Shattered / Battleborn / Inheritance Of The Grand Design (44:23 total)

Line-Up: Carsten David (vocals), Tobias Wimmer (guitar), Sebastian Lück (guitar), Simon Royal (bass), Ralf Schönberg (drums)
