Australian guitarist, composer, and producer Plini has released his third full-length album, "An Unnameable Desire", and is currently touring Europe and the UK in support of it through May 30.

Mixed by Simon Grove and mastered by Adam "Nolly" Getgood (Periphery), the album is a rich collaborative effort featuring Simon Grove (bass, auxiliary guitar, co-production), Chris Allison (drums), Dave Mckay (piano/keys), A.J. Minette (string arrangement), Misha Vayman (violin), Yoshi Masuda (cello), and additional guitar from Jakub Zytecki. The album artwork is designed by Patti Bai.

"Something I'm very happy about, after many years of making music and the 'career' aspect of it becoming a whole lot more serious, is that the process hasn't changed — still just me sitting in a room, tinkering on a guitar until I come across an interesting idea," shares Plini. "The intention with this album was to let that side of the process be as playful as possible... the heavier parts should be heavier, the pretty parts should be prettier."

Plini has previously toured alongside Sleep Token, Periphery, and Tesseract, and was nominated for Live Guitarist of the Year at the 2018 National Live Music Awards. The EU/UK leg of this world tour runs from late April through May 30, hitting Warsaw, Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, and UK cities including London's Electric Ballroom (May 22) and Manchester (May 23), with Sungazer providing support.
