The 7th Annual BeachLife Festival has come and gone, and it went out with a bang — a record-breaking, sold-out, sun-soaked bang on the waterfront of Redondo Beach, CA. This past weekend (May 1-3, 2026), more than 40,000 people flooded the South Bay for three days of music, food, and coastal vibes, with Friday and Saturday selling out completely.
Headliners delivered in a big way: Duran Duran brought 80s nostalgia and timeless classics to close Friday night. The Offspring tore through a high-energy set on Saturday — complete with a surprise appearance from Guy Cohen, the original actor from the "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)" music video — plus covers of Black Sabbath and The Beatles. And James Taylor and His All-Star Band closed out the festival Sunday with a feel-good, stripped-back performance that was pure SoCal magic.
Beyond the headliners, the weekend featured The Chainsmokers, My Morning Jacket, Sheryl Crow, Slightly Stoopid, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Grouplove, Switchfoot, Fitz & The Tantrums, Peach Pit and many more across four stages.
The festival also raised more than $150,000 for nonprofits including the Surfrider Foundation, Heal the Bay, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and others — bringing the total raised since inception to over $900,000.
Already looking forward to next year? BeachLife Festival 2027 is set for April 30 – May 2, 2027 back in Redondo Beach.
