New interview with Niall Kersey of Stone Angels

What is new since the last interview?

Well our LONG awaited new album ‘Up In Smoke’ has come out now, and has been receiving some fantastic reviews and extremely kind words so far! We've been hard at work in the rehearsal space getting ourselves ship-shape for some incredible future gigs coming up! We have Station 18 Festival over in Swansea Wales at the start of May, and in the summer we have another show with Metallica Reloaded and also the second year of Brighton Pride’s Pride Rock fest and Monsterfest in Scotland - both with an amazing line up!

What has been inspiring you lately?

I’ve been listening to a lot of stuff from the 80s that I wouldn’t normally listen to, bands like Cinderella, White Lion, even some Queensryche are there in the mix! Some fantastic songs have come out from some slightly lesser known bands like those, and of course some amazing song writing with it too.

Do you have any new singles, videos, or albums out that you would like to tell me and your fans about?

‘Up In Smoke’ came out March 22nd, and it's already been doing extremely well with reviews and even the reaction from our fantastic fan base! And along with that we also released the single for the song ‘Supercharged’ which has firmly become one of my favourites, not just on the album but in the live show too for its high energy and driving rhythm of the song itself.

Do you have anything else that you would like to talk about or promote?

Just the fact the album is out now from www.stone-angels.com, on both CD and vinyl, were a big supporter of buying physical media, so you can only get the album direct from us for now, it'll go onto digital streaming services at a later date while we're still putting out singles and videos.
