MIN t — the project of singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and mix engineer Martyna Kubicz — has spent years building her craft, studying classical piano from age seven, earning a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Valencia, and performing over 300 live shows at festivals across Europe including Reeperbahn, Open'er, and Orange Warsaw. She's supported HVOB, Angel Haze, Jess Glynne, and Vitalic.
Before The After explores themes of apocalypse, self-destruction, toxic relationships, and ultimately reclaiming agency — all through a sonically rich fusion of bass music and R&B. The title track opens as a drum and bass-driven ode to a wild night out, while "Hope," "Last Day," and "Water" reveal a more vulnerable, UK-garage-influenced side. "Digital Flower" goes full avant-garde with glitchy granular textures, and "Hangover" even experiments with reggaeton percussion.
MIN t shares:
"Before the After tells the story of a tainted world where hope is becoming harder and harder to find. Each song strips away another layer of my belief in a better tomorrow... Sonically, the album is a fusion of bass music and R&B, where I experiment with different styles and textures, pushing boundaries while staying emotionally raw and honest."
KALTBLUT Magazine called "Last Day": "a masterclass in UK garage-inspired vulnerability... effectively bridges the gap between Martyna Kubicz's raw songwriting and her intricate production style."
