Mimi Barks is back and she's tearing down walls. The Berlin-born, LA-based artist just dropped "JERICHO," the second single from her upcoming EP Dreamstate of Fear (out July 24 via DEATHKISS Records), and it comes loaded with a cinematic video filmed in Bordeaux and Paris by underground director NineNine99.

The track pushes her self-defined "DOOM TRAP" sound into new territory — alternative metal colliding with industrial weight, modern rock heaviness, and a massive hook-led chorus. At its core, "JERICHO" is about inner collapse and transformation, the breaking apart of everything false to make room for something new. And if you've seen Mimi perform live — or caught her sets at Download, Wacken, or Bloodstock — you know this woman delivers.

"What looks like collapse is really release, an undoing of everything that was never truly mine," Mimi explains. "The shift happens when the self remembers itself, when the energy turns inward and transforms. That's where freedom begins."

She's currently tearing up stages across the U.S. on her debut American tour with Little Miss Nasty, with dates in Phoenix, LA, San Francisco, and San Diego this week. Then it's back to Europe this summer for dates with KING 810 and Wargasm, plus festival slots at Vainstream and Till Fest — the festival hosted by Till Lindemann of Rammstein. Not bad for someone who started from Berlin's underground scene.
