Michelle Branch surprised fans at her sold-out Los Angeles show at The Wiltern by welcoming Lisa Loeb to the stage for Loeb's 1994 hit "Stay (I Missed You)," part of Branch's Everywhere and Back Again Tour.

Branch told the crowd she idolized Loeb growing up, even buying fake non-prescription glasses at Claire's and learning guitar to be like her. Years before her own career began, she waited in line at Loeb's merch table and said she dreamed of being a singer; Loeb invited her backstage to play a song, a moment Branch says she "completely blacked out" during. Earlier in the night she also noted that, although she had never headlined The Wiltern before, she once opened for another artist there and landed her first record deal that same night. The crowd sang every word, and afterward Branch laughed, "I blacked out again. That was amazing."

The tour kicked off September 27 and celebrates more than 25 years of music. Its nearly 20-date fall leg sold out within a week of being announced, so a 2027 leg was added. Branch has partnered with PLUS1, with $1 from every ticket going to The ALS Association.

The companion EP, Everywhere and Back Again, arrives November 6 via BMG. It includes a reimagined "Goodbye to You" with Maren Morris (the video, with Kristin Cavallari, recreates the Laguna Beach prom scene) and a new version of "The Game of Love" recorded and produced by its original writer, New Radicals' Gregg Alexander.

Upcoming dates include: Oct 6 San Luis Obispo; Oct 8 Salt Lake City; Oct 9 Las Vegas; Oct 10 Aspen; Oct 11 Boulder; Nov 4 Boston; Nov 5 New York (Beacon Theatre); Nov 6 Asbury Park; Nov 10 Chicago; Nov 11 Minneapolis; Nov 12 Milwaukee; Nov 13 Lexington. 2027: Feb 25 - Mar 27 including Nashville's Ryman, Los Angeles' Wiltern (Mar 13) and New York's Beacon (Mar 25).
