Interview with Turbo

Hey, thank you for coming back for another interview!

Hey! Thanks for having us again! This is Evan Frizzle, singer and lead guitarist for Turbo answering.

What is new since the last interview?

Well, we've had a lot of experience touring – we even did a two-week stint touring through Mexico late last year – and we've been writing like crazy. Turbo also just released our second full-length, entitled “Broke and Ugly” to titilate the ears, and we're back on the run promoting that like crazy. It's a very exciting time to be Turbo, I can't lie about that.

What has been inspiring you lately?

Oh wow, how much time do you got really... I find things to be inspired by literally all the time! However small that inspiration may be, and whether or not I decide to use it, for Turbo or otherwise.

I guess with our latest release, I think our music keeps that thrash-meets-glam-meets-punk Nitro Rock sound cultivated in the first album and we delve deeper into the depths of that – with lyrics that are very much focused on the highs and lows of the all-guns-blazing, take-no-prisoners rock-and-roll lifestyles that we lead.

Do you have any new singles, videos, or albums out that you would like to tell me and your fans about?

Well, we wrote a song about Mexico right before travelling there called “Down in Mexico”. The song is the last track on our new album “Broke and Ugly”. Being able to play that TO the Mexican fans down there was a rush and a half! We have a music video compiled of tour-footage from us trying to survive down there, it's a real hoot!

We've also released the singles “No Savior” and “Broke and Ugly” from our new album, which are fast becoming favorites with the fans as well.

Do you have anything else that you would like to talk about or promote?

The boys and I are FINALLY planning both a rip up to Newfoundland and a tear down the Canadian Shield to Ontario really soon. Aside from that, we do a crusade through some part of the maritimes or another almost every weekend, gear, merch and attitude in tow. Catch us on our socials for news, updates, and nonsense!

How can your fans best keep up to date with you, any socials you want people to check out?
