Interview with The Worry People

Hey, thank you for coming back for another interview!
Thanks for having us!
What’s new since the last interview?
We rounded off 2024 with some more shows including a return visit to Newcastle and a great hometown headliner in Ashford. We’re keeping the momentum of The Worry People going strong to take it as far as we can. Also Ryan got a finger tattoo so he’s now the dominant member of the group.
What has been inspiring you lately?
Of recent, we think the scene in Kent is really flourishing and there’s some great music coming out from all over. The live shows are packed with so much energy and it’s really great to see. That only makes us want to make more music and get involved wherever we can.
Do you have any new singles, videos, or albums out that you would like to tell me and your fans about?
You won’t believe this, but we have a new single coming out! It’s called ‘Stamp’ and it’s out on February 21st. We’ve been playing it for a little while now in our live shows and it’s been the track where the crowd can really let loose. The Worry People have never looked more serious and it’s kind of intimidating. Sam jokes “ We’re trying a new fear based form of promotion.”
Do you have anything else that you would like to talk about or promote?
There’s always more shows and more music on the way so stay in touch and come check us out live! A lot of our shows are less than £10 a ticket or even free entry, so why not give us a go before we hit the big time and tickets are a lot harder to come by. We also have merch and the tops we do are all limited runs so one day they could really get you some serious cash on eBay.
How can your fans best keep up to date with you, any socials you want people to check out?
You can find us on socials @theworrypeoplemusic, but we have started a mailing list this year where we drop exclusive content, early access to new music and updates on upcoming shows. You can sign up via our website www.theworrypeople.co.uk
