(From Dec 10, 2025)
Hey, thank you for coming back for another interview!
What is new since the last interview?
We have made some major changes in the lineup since we last talked. We kicked out our singer and moved our bassist, Morgan Warriner, from bass to lead vocals. He has such a beastly range; it was the right move. We also then needed a bass player and welcomed absolute phenom Max Hiske onto the bass. He has brought so much tightness to our live performances, and he's such a delight to have in the band. We are also releasing our next EP, Decomposition. The EP features reworked tracks from our first release. We like to refer to the reworked tracks as being decomposed since we shaved a lot of play time off the longer songs by either omitting riffs or speeding up riffs. Morgan's new lyrics and vocals on the tracks really revitalized them. The revitalization also wouldn't be complete without the thundering bass offered by Max Hiske and the skin assault provided by Jayden Warriner. The EP was mixed and mastered by Reid Paraszczynec at Lucid Distortion Audio. The raw files sounded really good, but Reid's magical work really brought the tracks fully to life.
What has been inspiring you lately?
The band as a whole has been getting really inspired by a lot of the new death metal bands that have been emerging right now. Sanguisugabogg has been rolling through a lot of the band's headphones; their newest release is so amazing! True instant classic. 200 Stab Wounds has also been getting a lot of play from the band. We also got to open for them in July, which was a great experience as well. They are a really great bunch of dudes! I would also say Cryptopsy has been heavily influencing the band as well lately, as well as The Black Dahlia Murder.
Do you have any new singles, videos, or albums out that you would like to tell me and your fans about?
We released our first single off our EP, November 21st, called ‘Guiltfeeder’. The same day, we got to open for Canadian metal legends Into Eternity. We later released the next single, ‘Liturgy’, on December 5th, the day before we opened up Slaughterfest in Edmonton, Alberta. The EP titled Decomposition releases on December 19th, 2025.
Do you have anything else that you would like to talk about or promote?
We got some new Merch up on Bandcamp. To support Decomposition. We got shirts and some laser-engraved tumblers with the logo on them. Currently, we are only shipping within Canada.
