Interview with NECRAMBULANT
Hey, thank you for coming back for another interview!
Howdy partner! Thanks for having me.
What is new since the last interview?
Well, we have our second full-length coming out on March 7th and we've just been gearing up for that. Planning a release show and getting all our ducks in a row to really promote the release once it's out. Hoping to perform in some places that we haven’t been to yet and really just spread the contagion we've made with this new album as much as we can.
What has been inspiring you lately?
Same as always; horror movies and Death Metal. Musically speaking, I’ve been spending a lot of time in the past revisiting old classics like Massacre’s first two releases, Gorefest’s “Mindloss”, Cianide, early Pyrexia, etc. There are also a couple of great horror movies that came out recently that resonated with me like “In A Violent Nature” and “The Substance” that may or may not plant some seeds of thematic influence in Necrambulant tracks yet to be made…
Do you have any new singles, videos, or albums out that you would like to tell me and your fans about?
Definitely! Our new album “Upheaval of Malignant Necrambulance” will be released by Gore House Productions on March 7th this year. So far we’ve released two singles from it, along with music videos for each, and have another single in the pipeline scheduled to come out prior to the album’s release. Both “Chunked Pus Chowder” and “Sentenced to a Gluttonous Pit” can be watched on the Gore House YouTube channel currently.
Do you have anything else that you would like to talk about or promote?
Just the new album! We wrote “Upheaval…” with the intention of creating a no-bullshit barrage of slamming brutal death the way that fans of our earlier output can appreciate. It’s heavy, guttural, and driven by riffs & grooves. It’s a record we spent a lot of time on and couldn’t be happier with.
How can your fans best keep up to date with you, any socials you want people to check out?
I’m pretty sure we have just about all the major social media platforms covered, so wherever you’re at you can likely find / follow us. I, personally, run the band's Instagram page currently, and that might be the most frequently updated outlet for news n’ whatnot. So if you’re on “the gram” give us a follow!
