Interview with Margantha
Hey, thank you for coming back for another interview!
Thank you for giving us this space, you've been truly kind and welcoming.
What is new since the last interview?
The big news is that our EP is finally out! We're really proud of it and we hope people will enjoy it, that it sparks some curiosity—and maybe someone out there will say: "Wow, these guys are really good."
What has been inspiring you lately?
Lately, we’ve all been wandering around and drawing inspiration from eerie and atmospheric places. We've been visiting monumental cemeteries, gothic cathedrals, and old quarantine hospitals with our families. We’re also enjoying some great metal gigs in our respective countries—it’s been a great source of energy and ideas.
Do you have any new singles, videos, or albums out that you would like to tell me and your fans about?
We also released a video for the song "Miriam and the Endless Night". I won’t lie— we ran into some difficulties, and in the end, we went for a very low-budget video. Honestly, we had planned something completely different, but given the current times we’re living in, it hasn’t been easy. Fortunately, we had a plan B for the video, and in the end, it all worked out.
Do you have anything else that you would like to talk about or promote?
Our latest single was released on June 27th to launch our new EP. The song is called "Miriam and the Endless Night", and it features a very special guest: Andy La Rocque, who delivers an absolutely stunning solo.
How can your fans best keep up to date with you, any socials you want people to check out?
Yes, we have our Instagram and Threads pages: @MARGANTHA_THE_BAND. That’s where we share all the latest news about the band. We’ll soon be launching our Bandcamp page as well, where we’ll have some very special, ultra-limited and numbered edition merchandise available.
