Interview with Manuel Barbara
Hey, thank you for coming back for another interview!
● Hey! Thanks for having me back!
What is new since the last interview?
● A lot often happens in just a few years. I think I’ve grown a great deal as an artist, joined a death metal band, done a lot of settling in to post-college life, and I’m feeling more ready than ever to make some serious music.
What has been inspiring you lately?
● I’ve been getting a lot of inspiration from just having fun with cool sounds lately. I’ll think “hey, what if I did this” and run with it. It’s a very playful way of making music and it seems to be working for me.
Do you have any new singles, videos, or albums out that you would like to tell me and your fans about?
● I have a new EP! It’s called Whisper in a Storm. I think it’s my best work yet and each track features at least one guest soloist. The title track is also the first think I’ve done that includes vocals.
Do you have anything else that you would like to talk about or promote?
● I’ve got a bunch of things I’m involved with these days. I play in a horror themed classic-style death metal band called Necronomicon Ex Mortis, and I am a co-host on a podcast called Airborne Sealife. I also have a project in the works called The Apocalyptic Sandwich of Doom. That one’s been a long time coming but I think we’re getting close to having a finished product, so keep an eye out!
