Interview with Forsaken Rite
Hey, thank you for coming back for another interview!
Thank you for having us!
What is new since the last interview?
A lot has been going on! It has been a very busy year. We released “The Storm”, the first single of our EP back in March, lyric video included. In August we released a music video for the second single of our EP. The single is called “Call to War”. This is the first video showing the current band lineup. Our EP “The Forgotten West” came out on September 27th, it is available on all streaming platforms. We have also kept ourselves busy playing shows in Edmonton, Fort MacMurray, and Vancouver and we have upcoming shows in Red Deer, Lethbridge, and Edmonton again.
What has been inspiring you lately?
The desire to tell stories, to invite all the warriors of the land to be part of our world, to sit with us at our table and share adventures… and mead…. Lots of mead.
Do you have any new singles, videos, or albums out that you would like to tell me and your fans about?
It has been an eventful year for the band. We have released one lyric video for our song “The Storm” - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8qp-l83nAI, a music video for our song “Call to War” - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5s14PTAYf7Q, and an EP called “The Forgotten West” - https://open.spotify.com/album/4ZpohHsjPKtRRtX33jMkhG?si=tKfE7KLpQbORp7mnnCH-DA
We are very grateful for how our fellow brothers and sisters are responding to the new adventures. It is such an honour to reach lands near and far, and we hope to venture toward new frontiers in the not-so-distant future.
Do you have anything else that you would like to talk about or promote?
We have several shows coming up: On November 8th, we set forth to Red Deer, and we continue our journey South to Lethbridge on November 9th. After those battles, we return home to share our bard’s songs for our EP release show on December 13th.
More adventures await for 2025, there will be new music, more mighty battles, and even more mead.
How can your fans best keep up to date with you, any socials you want people to check out?
The best way to keep track of our undertakings is by ancient prophecies only known to the Elders, however, our social media channels also work!
