Interview with ATOMIS

Hey, thank you for coming back for another interview!

What has been inspiring you lately?

I’ve found over the last few years, I’ve had to lean heavily on nostalgia to start my cold engine of imagination, haha. While working through the archives of ATOMIS since 2020 (getting our entire works remixed, remastered, and compiling artwork of our fallen drummer Nathan Navetto) - there have been tough days by the sheer amount of work, favours asked, and plans to solidify. The only thing keeping me going was just the joy of listening to the music, and the excitement that it’ll finally be released after sitting for over a decade.

Do you have any new singles, videos, or albums out that you would like to tell me and your fans about?

We have a brand new single, 12 Chains, out right now! Our friend, director Doug Cook has created two new music videos for us. The first was originally sketched out by Navetto and Cook nearly a decade ago, using miniatures, actors, stop motion, CGI among other techniques. (12 Chains)

The 2nd is a  completely alternate version of our video Maelström, using previously unseen live performance footage from 2012.

Do you have anything else that you would like to talk about or promote?

On August 30th, our entire works will be released via a 3 CD Boxset, “Void”. This will include our self-titled album, Nathan’s version of the same album featuring 9 additional tracks, as well as a Live Demos album of music we performed from 2010 - 2014. Also included is a 22 Card Set of Nathan’s art and live band photos.

How can your fans best keep up to date with you, any socials you want people to check out?

Please find us on our new socials , and check out the new music videos!
