Alberta noise rock duo Bat Leather just wrapped a short run of Southern Alberta shows, including a slot opening for New York noise rock pioneers Unsane. We caught up with the band again to find out what's new.

Volatile Weekly: Thank you for coming back for another interview! What is new since the last interview?
Bat Leather (Cory): We just got back from a small string of Southern Alberta shows, including a slot opening for New York Noise Rock pioneers UNSANE. So that's pretty cool!

VW: What has been inspiring you lately?
Bat Leather: Music-wise, I've been digging into old Swans stuff.

VW: Do you have any new singles, videos, or albums out that you would like to tell me and your fans about?
Bat Leather: Yeah! We have a new 5-song 7" called "Dark Arts" that No List Records helped us get out there. You can buy/listen to it here: https://batleather.bandcamp.com/
We also have a couple of videos to support the record here:
Dance Craze: https://vimeo.com/1209063567
Technical Aggression: https://vimeo.com/1223496256

VW: Do you have anything else that you would like to talk about or promote?
Bat Leather: We'll possibly be recording again this winter, so maybe we'll have some new stuff by Spring '27.

VW: How can your fans best keep up to date with you, any socials you want people to check out?
Bat Leather: You can follow along on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/batleathernoise/
