In This Moment released their ninth full-length album, WITCH, their debut for Better Noise Music, timed to coincide with a full moon. The 11-track record leans fully into the band's signature blend of fury, femininity, and fire and brings in a striking list of collaborators: Dayseeker's Rory Rodriguez on the new single "I Want To Believe," Kim Dracula on "Heretic," and Kat Von D on a cover of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick In The Wall."
"WITCH is my declaration of inner transformation," says frontwoman Maria Brink. "It's about embracing the duality within—taking pain, persecution, and struggle—and alchemizing them into strength and power."
The "I Want To Believe" video pairs the song's emotional weight with the band's usual cinematic visual style, and Rodriguez called the collaboration a long time coming after the two bands toured together last year.
WITCH follows lead single "Crawl," which picked up plugs from Metal Hammer, Revolver, and Consequence, and the earlier "Sleeping With The Enemy," which topped a million streams on its own. The band has amassed more than two billion career streams and multiple Gold and Platinum singles since forming in 2005.
In This Moment hits the road this fall, first on a short run of headline and co-headline dates, then joins the Taste of Chaos tour with Hollywood Undead, I See Stars, Vana, and Melrose Avenue from late September through late October.
