UK doom metal titans GODTHRYMM have shared their latest single, "The Sun Never Fell," from their upcoming third album, Projections, arriving May 29 via Profound Lore Records.
Vocalist/guitarist Hamish Glencross says: "We present 'The Sun Never Fell' as our second single from Projections, as it showcases the more grandiose epic sound of the band full of vocal harmonies, layer upon layer of instrumentation and massive riffs. The song strives to shine light through crushing darkness, with hope leading out of despair."
Projections completes the Visions Trilogy that began with Reflections (2020) and Distortions (2023). The album sees an expanded lineup — adding keyboardist/co-vocalist Catherine Glencross, bassist Bob Crolla, and guitarist Kris McLaughlin — making it GODTHRYMM's most layered and complex release yet.
Massive guest appearances include original English Dogs vocalist Adie Bailey, Xentrix vocalist Jay Walsh, and My Dying Bride icon Aaron Stainthorpe, who takes center stage on "Endure My Skin."
