Seven years is a long time to wait. But if FLESHCRAWL's new single is any indication, the wait for Epitome of Carnage has been absolutely worth it. The German death metal veterans have dropped the music video for "Embers of Wrath" — the latest taste of their tenth studio album, arriving June 12 via Distortion Music Group.
Founded in 1987 in Illertissen, Germany, FLESHCRAWL have weathered every storm that the death metal world could throw at them — including the heartbreaking loss of longtime vocalist Sven "Svenson" Gross in 2021. With new frontman Borisz Sarafutgyinov now fully in place, the band emerges with renewed ferocity and a sense of purpose that bleeds through every track.
"'Embers of Wrath' acts as a counterweight to our other songs... with a slightly more laid-back, mid-tempo and melodic approach. FLESHCRAWL was always known for mixing in the Gothenburg style melodies with the HM2 work, and this track pays homage to that specific element." — FLESHCRAWL
Epitome of Carnage features 12 tracks of unrelenting death metal. Also check out previously released single "Blood Dominion" (Official Videoclip).
