Brooklyn duo fashn are back, and they've brought a hypnotic new video to keep things interesting. The NYC-based post-punk project of Thomas Peters and Julius Dolls has dropped "Continuation" — their first release of 2026 — alongside a moody, cinematic video that's as compelling as the track itself.

Originally formed in Chicago before making New York their home, fashn have carved out a devoted following on the Brooklyn DIY circuit — playing headline shows at The Broadway, Knitting Factory, Alphaville, and Mercury Lounge. Their sound blurs gothic post-punk, modern indie rock, electronica, shoegaze, and darkwave pop into something that feels both nostalgic and sharply of-the-moment.

"Continuation, finding the thrill in the monotony. Detached execution! This track is a representation of favored consistency over ambiguity. The only reality we want is the one that we create." — fashn

"Continuation" follows October's "Talk Show" and previews the duo's forthcoming sophomore album Sequel. Peters (formerly of Modern Vices) and Dolls (solo artist Julius Dolls) have also previously released standout singles "13" and "Pseudo," both mixed and mastered by Local Natives' longtime engineer John Zott.
