Bogota extreme metal veterans Perpetual Warfare have released "N.N. (6402)," the second single since signing to M-Theory Audio, along with a music video. A full-length is due next spring on the label.
Sung in Spanish, the song deals with the victims of what the band describes as state violence in Colombia. "'N.N. (6402)' tells a story that Colombia's power elites have tried to hide. We are bringing it to light - no censorship, no curtains, just the reality that many Colombians lived through. No one can erase history," says Camilo Munoz.
Together with the first single, "Nihil Sumus," it forms a double A-side 7" limited to 300 copies on bone-colored vinyl, available by mail order from M-Theory Audio and Bandcamp or at shows.
Formed in 2006 by brothers Camilo Munoz (vocals/guitar) and Wilson Munoz (bass), with Esteban Diaz (drums) and Camilo Solorzano (guitar), the band blends 80s Bay Area and Teutonic thrash with modern extremity. They have played 20+ countries, 70,000 Tons of Metal and Knotfest, and opened two sold-out Megadeth nights in Bogota.
Upcoming shows: Nov 7 Festival Salinas Rock (Zipaquira); Nov 12-13 Festival Galeras Rock (Pasto).
