LA alt-rock/post-punk collective Beauty In Chaos, founded by guitarist Michael Ciravolo (ex-Human Drama, ex-Gene Loves Jezebel, President of Schecter Guitars), released their fifth album Quiet Place on September 28, exactly eight years after their debut Finding Beauty In Chaos. It came out via 33.3 Music Collective and was produced by Grammy-nominated Michael Rozon (Ministry, Jarboe, Wayne Hussey, The Melvins).
The ten-track record (Deluxe CD adds bonus tracks) is a guest-heavy affair. Lead track "Home" features Ashton Nyte of South African goth rockers The Awakening; the focus track is "You Made Me A Weapon" ft. Julian Shah-Tayler. Other guests include Cinthya Hussey (with help from Wayne Hussey of The Mission), Whitney Tai, Betsy Martin, Leo Luganskiy and Patrik Mata of Kommunity FK, plus newcomers Nick Schultz (The Faces Of Sarah) and Brent Meyer (Strangelove).
Ciravolo calls it "quite possibly our most diverse album." Over the years the project has involved members of The Mission, The Cure, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Bauhaus and more. For fans of The Mission, The Cure, HIM, The Sisters Of Mercy and The Awakening.
