Chilean dark metal act ATER have unveiled a music video for "Sleep," a haunting, romantic ballad that trades the band's usual shadowy brutality for a more emotional, stripped-back arrangement. It's the first single from their upcoming full-length, Everlasting, due January 29, 2027 via Torque Records.

"This is a very different release for us, and I'm sure most of our listeners will be surprised," says frontman Fernando Bühring. "I have been exploring and expanding the musical boundaries of ATER, and this song is an expression of that. Freedom to express myself. We shot the music video with a small team and it was directed by our drummer Vincent Zbinden. 'Sleep' is a very personal song, and it represents well this new facet of sound we developed creating this new album."

Built around a slow, considered pace, the track pairs ferocious heaviness with lingering clean passages, with Bühring's intimate vocals lending the song a gothic-romance quality. Everlasting was recorded at Torque Records, mixed by Daniel Lancaster, and mastered by Tony Lindgren (Fascination Street Studios), with cover art by Travis Smith.

Everlasting tracklist:
1. Venus
2. When At Night
3. Heart Of Glass
4. Neverlasting
5. Make Me Bleed
6. Ketamine
7. Sleep
8. With You Came The Winter
